RRVE Neighborhood News

                                                                 May 5, 2024

Speeding continues to be a problem. The sheriff is making more visits to our valley. Please slow down for walkers, runners, children and stray dogs the speed limit is 25 mph.

Warmer weather is coming. Time to start getting yards tidy. Weeds and tall grass need to be cut/trimmed to safeguard our neighborhood during Fire season.

In the Rules Book(pink book)if you don’t have a pink book go to communitynews.biz

Page 24 (h) All trash, rubbish and garbage shall be removed from the property at regular Intervals and shall be disposed of in accordance with the regulations of the County of Lincoln, State of New Mexico, or other regulatory agencies.

In an effort to save money on newsletters(approx $400 per mailing x’s 4 mailings a year) please use website communitynews.biz  for our neighbor news.

Repairs to the asphalt at the mailboxes will be happening very soon. Also a new concrete pad for 1 cluster box with 2 more on the schedule.

Important POB info-if you are on the waiting list for a cluster mailbox you DO NOT have to pay for a POBox at the post office. Everyone is entitled to one free mail delivery source. You cannot have a POBox at post office and a cluster mailbox in the neighborhood. And until we get more cluster mailboxes for everyone you are not obligated to pay the USPS.

Any questions post them at communitynews.biz or contact Robert the postmaster at the Alto Post Office.

We are planning a community wide picnic at Sunrise Park. Anyone with ideas or would like to volunteer please leave info at  communitynews.biz.

Also thanks to resident who reported a road cut as it was happening. Please continue to keep an eye out for ANYONE cutting into our roads. The board will be meeting with county commissioners for insight into repairs of all our ROADS. Anyone who would want to be an advocate for RRVE ROADS please go to communitynews.biz and sign up.
