Vice president Lamar Berry gave an update on mailboxes and folks who do not live in the neighborhood but get their mail at the RRVE cluster boxes. The postmaster is aware of this situation and is working on a plan. The board is getting the space ready for another cluster box. USPS has very specific regulations about the concrete pad. The job is very small and has been hard finding the right person for the job.  The board is working to make it happen.

Tiny house on Little Big Horn is a hobby replacement home. Bobby Smart has gotten confirmation that it will be moved by the middle of next year when the owner’s lot that was destroyed by fire is ready.

Treasurer Anne Speights gave an update on financials and so far this year we are well below budget. The previous overdue amount was $44,686.90. The current overdue amount is $31,790 and is constantly being adjusted as the title searches come in and overdue accounts are cleared or turned over to the collection company.

Treasurer Anne Speights gave an update on slash pick up and the confusion from the current trash company Universal Waste. The board hired a private contractor in the meantime and they will be picking up slash in the next few weeks. A meeting with the Universal Waste representative and the board members is being scheduled to sure up definite dates for spring and fall cleanups as well as slash pick up.

Website update by Linda Schreiber reported the website “communitynews.biz”is being visited by more members every day. It is the go to place for current information concerning our neighborhood.

The meeting turned over to the Fort Stanton Cave presenters Steve Peerman and Knutt Peterson. Steve Peerman  announced all residents affected by the underground study program had signed the release form for the exploration under their property. The slideshow had amazing pictures of formations not ever seen before. The cave study project is selling 2025 calendars for $10.

Meeting adjourned at 12:15
